Pull them back, and watch them speed up on the track. LEGO Technic: Pullback Racer 2.0 is back to test your driving skills using cool customized LEGO blocks race car. The game now uses a longer race track and that would mean more thrilling distances to cover. Maneuver your LEGO race car and aim for the longest time you can travel. Using the green pads on the track will help you boost some speed for a short time. But the most important is to collect the LEGO cogs in order to fill up your boost gauge and get a nice burst of speed.

Overview:

Everybody loves LEGO regardless of their age. These people may be young, old and even those that feel the need to make a LEGO model. Now of course LEGO games have been around for a long time and Pullback Racers is just one example. We are going to be tackling about LEGO Pullback Racers 2 which is something similar but a bit improved. You still get to pull back your favorite LEGO car in this awesome and fun filled game.

Aesthetics:

The looks and the visuals of LEGO Pullback Racers 2 kind of looks like the first game but it is very much improved on. The visuals look great and pretty much polish especially for the kind of systems that the games will be played on. The animation is smooth, fast, fluent and very clean to look at which is really a plus. The music as well is really good which gives you a sense of adrenaline rush. It helps when you’re racing your LEGO car on the track. It’s fast paced and really gets you in the mood to play. It’s also interesting to note that when you’re fuel runs out, the music will also stop but will resume if you manage to regain fuel. The music temporarily stops as well if you hit a blockade.

Gameplay:

LEGO Pullback Racers 2 is as we stated similar to the first one but pretty much improved. The way to start the game is pretty much the same where you have to pull or drag a space to the length that you would want. The longer the space pulled means the faster and the longer the LEGO car will travel. There is a limit to the space that you can pull so you don’t have to pull it to an infinite length. The difference between the two games is that you only have to pull once in Pullback Racers 2 whereas in 1 you have to pull again to start the car. The concept for this game is pretty simple which is to get the farthest distance as possible. Right after you pull, your LEGO car will be launched thus giving it speed and momentum. This time you’re actually running on a racing track. The LEGO car will run on fuel where it will slowly decrease in percentage. Once reaching zero, the LEGO car will stop thus completing the run. The race track will simply loop but the distance covered will determine how far you went. You will regain fuel and more time if you hit the certain checkpoints. There will also be other LEGO cars that will be on the race track. They can hinder you, slow you down and even knock out some of that fuel. In the meantime you can only choose two LEGO cars namely the Record Breaker and Quad Bike but more models will be coming soon. You would want to play the game over and over again just so you can surpass your previous record.

It's your friend octopus' birthday, but the celebration will have to wait again because of these aliens. Start the engine and get ready for another battle here in Mad Day 2. Simply drive your truck and get as far as you can until you reach the mothership. But you will face lots of aliens along the way. Use your rockets and guns to eliminate these aliens. Be sure to avoid some of these aliens for they can destroy your truck easily. Save up your coins and use them to upgrade your truck, buy new weapons and buy new guns. You can also purchase power-ups to get a nice head start!

Overview:

Just when Fluffy the octopus got rescued from the last game, he gets kidnapped again by aliens. It’s sad since it was apparently his birthday when he was taken again. Our favorite skin head army guy has to go through the task of going to save Fluffy again. Ride again facing a mad day with the roads filled with aliens and obstacles as our guy saves Fluffy for a second time.

Aesthetics:

Mad Day 2 utilizes the same visuals from the first game which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. The presentation is hand drawn representing cartoony imagery. The opening scene is that of a comic book style much similar to the first game. The comic scene simply shows Fluffy getting kidnapped again. The actual animation styles are fluent and smooth which are all good. The details on the background are also really good. You would probably notice that the giant monsters in the background are destroying the cities. The audio aspect of the game is also good but again sounds the same as the first game. It has that synthetic rock and surfer tune to it. It does change from the battle and shop segments.

Gameplay:

Mad Day 2 utilizes the same gameplay mechanics as the first game. You control our skin headed friend as he rides to save Fluffy. Players can’t control the car’s movements as it moves on its own. Players can control it by making it jump at the right time. Players can also fire their weapon to get rid of the aliens and enemies on the road. The players have to trek through a stretch of land with different stop over points. In those points are respective bosses that the players have to defeat to proceed. If the players die along the way they have to start from the beginning. The good thing is that the players can earn money along the way. Using the money they can buy upgrades for different aspects. Players can still upgrade their cars. They can upgrade the armor, rocket launcher, speed and life. Unlike the first game, the players can also choose the car that they can use. There are cars that can be unlocked and available for the future. Players can also use guns during those running segments when they’re not in the car. The players can also buy different guns or firearms for skin head to use. Then finally one other change that the players can do here is to buy an outfit for skin head. While these are mostly aesthetics, there are also stats that are included in these outfits. These outfits can increase attack power or decrease loading time. Just choose the one that you would prefer as either for aesthetic or stat needs. The game basically stretches until you have enough equipment and upgrades done to your car and guy. You have to be patient as you need to trek and cover a whole lot of land for you to save Fluffy once again.

The homeless hobo is back to kick some holy guys for not allowing him to stay in heaven. Guide him on the heavenly field and wreak havoc here in HOBO 7! Control the Hobo and defeat the angels you see around. There are 3 modes of difficulty here; Easy, Normal, and Hard. Use your punch and kick attacks to perform various funny combos. There are also items on the ground that you can use to attack by throwing them. Perform series of combos and you will be able to unlock new skills for the menacing Hobo. Once you get pass a checkpoint, remember the password so you can start on that area!

Overview:
Our favorite Hobo is back and apparently hell didn’t want him there after he killed Satan. Hobo is back for his seventh installment. Since hell didn’t want him, he ends up in heaven where is seen sleeping outside the gates. Apparently hobos aren’t allowed in heaven so he gets angry again and decides to rampage inside and fight everyone including God. If you are offended by blood, gore, vomit, poop and urine visuals then this game is not for you. If you’re also a religious Christian who takes offense to your belief then this game is also not for you.

Asthetics:

Hobo 7 pretty much uses the same art style and visual presentation as the previous six games. The actual animations and movements of hobo are all the same. A lot of the combos and special moves are also animated the same way from the previous games but of course that’s not to say that it’s all bad. The art is bright and color especially since you’re in heaven so it makes sense. The music as well is carried on from the previous games where you hear that street jazz tune with hobo beating the crap out of everyone. It simply loops though so that’s one knock about it but it does change occasionally for the most part.

Gameplay:

Hobo 7 is much like the previous games wherein it is a beat em game mixed with a fighting game. It is primarily a beat em up game as you control hobo in the clouds of heaven. Pressing the arrow keys make hobo go from left to right as well as up and down. Pressing the S key allows hobo to punch and the D key allows him to kick or do a variety of moves. Later on hobo can learn combos in specific parts of the game. Then again he can already use available combos at the start of the game. Players can press P to know the available combos that they can do and the ones that he’s learned. Players can also let hobo carry and use items by pressing the letter A. The objective is to defeat all the enemies on the screen or in the area. The players need to control hobo and beat the crap out of all those enemies. The enemies consist mostly of angels. Apparently these angels are violent and would beat up hobo simply because they don’t like him for some reason. There are also the golden angels who are tougher than the other and regular angels. Just as the previous games, hobo can do combos that can a bet repulsive. He can spit, urinate, poop, bleed and even pop his eyes out. This is probably a game that not a lot of people can stand simply because it may be revolting. The game does seem fun if you don’t mind the vile aspects of the game. It also ends with a little cliffhanger making you think of an eight game as well.

All crowns have been stolen and the king is upset. You're now the new hero assigned by the king in this fun physics and puzzle game called Catch the Crown. What you must do is to retrieve the crowns by eliminating all the guards in each level. Drop rocks at their head to finish the task. But you only have a limited amount of shots, so aim carefully. There are also obstacles or blockades that are protecting them. Use cannons or other types of projectiles to destroy the obstacles. And don't forget to get all 3 stars in each level for better score.

Overview:

The game takes place in a faraway kingdom where the king has lost his crowns. It's really natural for a king to have more than one crown but it is up to you the knight in shining armor to take back these lost crowns. Go around defending your castle from idle knights and dropping items on them to make them spit out the crown. Traverse through a number of levels to get back those crowns and make your king happy.

Aesthetics:

The game has nice visuals as they are hand drawn and have that cartoon motif to it. The game starts with a little exposition from the king stating that he wants his crowns back which is normal for any king to be angry about. The backgrounds are good depicting a middle age war setting. They do repeat throughout the entire game so that's one thing to take into consideration. The animations are simple but they do the job well which is just fine for the most part. The game's music also gets you pumped up even if its not too action oriented. You get the feeling of war and song are in the air.

Gameplay:

Catch the Crowns is the title of the game but you're not literally catching crowns. You control a knight that is on top of the tower or the fort. This knight must attack the idle knights on the ground. Hitting these enemy knights will kill them and some of them will have a crown pop out. Just click on the crown and you'll continue with the game. Just as we stated though, the crowns don't always drop so the main objective for each level is to simply eliminate all the enemy knights on the level. It sounds simple enough but it isn't as the game is sort of like a puzzle type. The player is able to use three different ammunition types and they include a brick, log and magic missile. Each item pierces through different things but different obstacles also block these items in a way. It's just like how dirt blocks most of them or how magic missiles pass through concrete. Logs are used for rolling on the ground but they can still hit enemy knights and kill them with one hit. Players can also use a canon with limited ammo that can destroy concrete allowing more versatility when it comes to solving the puzzles. There are also 3 stars in each level that players can optionally collect. Missing them doesn't mean that you can't finish the level but it lets you get a higher rank should you want to of course. Just keep in mind that you can always restart or redo a level when you're not satisfied with the results. One more thing to keep in mind is that your ammunition is limited in each level. The cannon's ammo is limited as well as the knight's projectiles. When you use all of them, the level will fail but you can restart.
