Brief alignment: Start from a seated position. Fold the left knee into the groin. Hug the right knee in, and shimmy the knee up the shoulder to open the hip. Root down trough both sitting bones. Grab the right foot with the left hand. Stretch the knee and extend the leg, as you hold the foot. Press the right hand to the side and elongate the waist. Gradually stretch the elbow and knee until you tilt and root like a compass.
